Radiator and Boiler Power Flush Specialists
If you are having problems with your central heating system it could be that the system needs to be "flushed", a process that involves draining the system and using a pump or vacuum to flush out the system, clearing it of anything blocking the pipes. Power Flushing is one of the most effective ways of cleaning a central heating system.
What is a Radiator Power Flush?
A low cost and highly effective way to restore your central heating system to its former glory.
Power Flushing is a great way to clean a brand new heating system, or just before installing a new boiler or a central heating installation to existing systems to remove any excess flux, swarf and other debris. Also this will remove grease and oil used to prevent rusting of components before use. Even if your system is not showing flow problems, it is wise to carry out a power flush every now and then as many systems will contain corrosion and sludge which could cause problems at a later stage if not cleared from the system. Debris often comes loose when alterations are made to the existing system and pipes, including adding new radiators, or a new boiler. This debris may then accumulate in the boiler heat exchanger, which can cause noisy operation or reduced efficiency and, in some cases, failure of the boiler. Modern boilers, which are developed to minimise fuel costs and pollution, means that they are more susceptible to problems caused by debris in the heating system. |
